Transcutaneous electro-nerve stimulators (TENS) aid in the relief and management of chronic pain. These devices characteristically have higher voltage, sensory currents than micro-current devices.

Micro-current devices (Accu-O-Matic) are sub-sensory and mimic a body's natural electrical impulses to promote healing by increasing the cells' ATP levels.
